In bank accounts, the register for any given account provides the option to filter transactions by "all transactions", "matched", "manually added", "categorized", "reconciled", and "unreconciled".

These are great options. What would be extremely helpful, though, is if there were the option to filter by unmatched transactions.

While matching / entering transactions from the bank feed help the user to make sure his or her books have all of the transactions that the bank has, it doesn't do anything to look for the opposite error, i.e. when there's a transaction in the books that isn't shown in the bank feed.

Prior to doing an account reconciliation, these unmatched transactions are not easy to locate without that option being available in the filter.
