I want to rename a field in a data query.  That's not a problem by itself but I am not allowed to rename and save if that field is used in any other reports.  The only way I found so far was to MANUALLY add the field again with a new name, MANUALLY edit EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE EXISTING REPORTS, and then go back and remove the field with the old/outdated name.    If you have multiple reports based on the data query this is crazy time consuming.

 

Why doesn't zoho let you save the data query and manually update the field? Access does, QuickBase does, etc. etc.

 

Is there a way to script this change to the reports?
