I am trying to import a list of customers via CSV import - my customer list has some items that have duplicated customer display names.  

I have set the option in the preferences to Allow Duplicate Customer Display Names, however when I try to import via CSV - it won't allow the duplicates but it will allow me to create duplicates if I create them via the UI.

Any suggestions?
