Does the functionality exist to review and approve a booking request before it is automatically confirmed?

Does the functionality exist to review and approve a booking request before it is automatically confirmed?

Hello everyone, 

Does the functionality exist where once the booking request is submitted by the customer, the staff member receives the request and has the opportunity to accept or provide an alternative time proposal before the booking is confirmed back to the customer?

I know there is the function available for staff to cancel or reschedule an appointment, but only after the initial request is accepted and has been confirmed to the customer.
