Filter contacts based on selected category in Zoho Desk ticket

Hello community,

I’m setting up the Tickets module in Zoho Desk and I need help implementing the following:


When a category is selected in a ticket, I want the Contact field to be filtered so that it only displays contacts that are related to that category.

Ideally, the contacts could be categorized beforehand in Desk, and the relationship would be based on a common field.

Is there a native way to do this in Zoho Desk, or any ideas on how it could be achieved using a custom widget, a Deluge function, or some integration with Zoho CRM/Flow?


I’d really appreciate any guidance on the best way to implement this, or if anyone has done something similar. 🙌
