Hard Gate Pre-Screening Assessments for LinkedIn Easy Apply and Indeed Quick Appl

We are a current Zoho customer actively moving most of our systems to Zoho, and we genuinely want Zoho Recruit to be our ATS. But there is one capability gap we cannot work around.

The LinkedIn Easy Apply and Indeed Quick Apply integrations are partial, not complete, and the way they are marketed is misleading.

Here is what actually happens: candidates apply through LinkedIn or Indeed, their application is created in Zoho Recruit, and then they are redirected externally to complete the pre-screening assessment. They can skip it entirely. There is no enforcement, no hard block, and no way to prevent an incomplete applicant from entering your pipeline.

Zoho's own marketing page (zoho.com/recruit/linkedin-apply-connect.html) states: "even your pre-screening assessment is handled without redirections, ensuring a seamless experience for each and every applicant." This clearly implies the assessment is enforced before submission. It is not. We confirmed this in writing with Zoho support.

What we need — and what competing ATS platforms already do — is the questionnaire embedded directly inside the LinkedIn and Indeed application flow. Candidates never leave the page. They cannot submit until every required question is answered.

Please build this and update your marketing to accurately reflect the current limitation.
