Hello Team,

I am facing a repeated issue in Zoho POS while saving a sale that contains service-based items.
My products are intentionally created as Service (Non-Inventory) items because I do not want to track stock for them.

However, every time I try to save the sale, Zoho POS shows the following error:

“This sale was not saved as it had some conflicts.
Sorry shipment status cannot be updated for draft invoice or invoice with only non inventory tracked items.”

Since my items are service items, there is no shipping or inventory involved, but Zoho POS still tries to update the shipment status during the sale. This causes the sale to fail and not get saved.

What I need

  • A way to disable Shipment / Delivery Status for invoices that contain only service items.

  • Or a setting in POS to mark items as Non-shippable, so POS does not attempt shipment updates.

  • No shipping or stock tracking required

Please guide me on how to resolve this conflict so that service-only invoices can be saved without shipment errors.
