In Zoho CRM you can add a Sales Order to a specific contact (who is assigned to an account). In Zoho Books it looks like this is not possible in the Business to Business scenario where that customer has multiple "contact persons".
Reason why we should be able to assign a "Contact Person" to an order:
1. For businesses with lots of "Contact Persons" you know the specific person responsible for the order (yes, you can add "Attention To" on address but see 3 & 4 below)
2. For Zoho CRM / Finance you can view the Contact Person in CRM and see their respective orders
3. In Zoho Inventory we use ShipStation to ship goods which notifies that specific "Contact Person" via email on shipment and on delivery of goods. Currently this is not possible because we don't know which "contact person" is assigned to the order.
4. We are unable to do any follow up email automation marketing as we can't determine who was the actual person at the business who purchased the item.
Currently you can link a Potential (which we generally don't use).
It would be fantastic if you could assign a "contact person" / crm contact person along with or instead of a crm Potential ID
