Migrating Zoho Analytics Integration from Google Universal Analytics (UA) to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Migrating Zoho Analytics Integration from Google Universal Analytics (UA) to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

Dear Customers,

As Google announced, the deadline for migrating from Universal Analytics (UA) to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is approaching. In light of this, we would like to provide you with updated instructions on how to handle the migration of reports and dashboards in Zoho Analytics.

Currently, Zoho Analytics supports native integration with both Universal Analytics (UA) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We will continue to support the Universal Analytics (UA) integration until it is no longer supported by the corresponding APIs from Google.

Regarding the migration process, please note that the data models (table names, column names, datatypes, and lookups) differ between Universal Analytics (UA) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), making direct migration impossible. However, you can follow the steps below to manually perform certain actions:

1. Keep your existing Google Universal Analytics (UA) integration active in Zoho Analytics.
2. Configure a new Google Analytics 4 (GA4) integration in your Zoho Analytics account.
3. Select the necessary reports from your Google Universal Analytics (UA) workspace and export them as a template.
4. Import the template file into Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and manually map the corresponding columns.

If you require any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@zohoanalytics.com.

Thanks
