Paypal Error - Gateway credentials are not valid. Please provide valid credentials.

Hi we keep encountering this error on sign up. We enter our credentials in the setup it authenticates fine and says its successful.

But when we go to test the system we get the error.

Gateway credentials are not valid. Please provide valid credentials.

Also I do not see any details on using paypal as the payment method for API subscriptions. Is this possible?

Please let me know thanks, Its critical we get PayPal working as a payment method for us.
