Publish old job

I am trying to publish a job that was previously put on hold and as such, unpublished. Today the job was reactivated but I am unable to republish. I get a popup that says that jobs must be created less than 45 days ago to publish. I am not able to change the creation date. It there anyway short of cloning this as a new job to solve this problem? I really hate to clutter things with creating a new job when the old one is sufficient!
