Share Work Items Across Projects and Users | Zoho Sprint

Share Work Items Across Projects and Users | Zoho Sprint

Hello everyone,

We're thrilled to introduce a new feature in Zoho Sprints: "Share work item"

Collaboration across projects and users is now easier with the introduction of the Share work item feature. You can now share work items with users who are not part of the project, as well as across projects.

Here's a use case that will help you understand the feature in real-time:

Say the HR team needs to assign training-related work items to various department teams (projects) across the organization. Manually creating and managing each of these work items is time-consuming and inefficient.

Using the Share work item feature, the HR team can easily share training-related work items with multiple projects. Then, the team can track progress right from the source work item, making it easier to monitor training completion and collaborate with department heads.

Occasionally, the HR manager needs to review and approve training work items before they are finalized. Since the HR manager is not directly part of each department’s project, they don’t have access to the work items by default. In these cases, the project owner can share the work items with the HR manager with  “Write” permissions, allowing them to review, comment, and approve the training-related work items without being a project user.

Thank you

    • Zoho Sprints - Your team is all set to sprint ahead

Hello there, It's been a week since we launched the Zoho's only agile project management tool - Zoho Sprints. I guess you guys are loving it! Bringing agility to your team has never been this easy because you will be able to inspect, iterate, and adapt. You have a requirement; break it down into smaller units; get the work done in parallel; receive the deliverables in shorter phases called sprints. The best part of Agile is you get a chance to quickly respond to change and not stick to a fixed plan.
