Theme and Branding Enforcement

Theme and Branding Enforcement

Zoho Wiki is really coming along with great new features.

Paying accounts with multiple Wikis will typically be a larger organizations with branding and theme policies. As such, I'm requesting that the superuser have the ability enforce branding, themes and other aspects based on the landing wiki. Currently, as far as I know, this can only be done manually.

What I'm imaging is new options under Settings>My Wikis. Next to the list of wikis would be some check boxes: Enforce Theme, Footer, Header, and Navigation. Theme, Footer, and Header are easy to understand. Navigation requires some explanation: Under Customization>Add Element, there would be three elements for page navigation, "Shared Navigation & Pages", "Enforced Navigation & Pages", and "Navigate Pages". "Shared Navigation Pages" and "Enforced Navigation Pages" would only be available to the landing wiki and superuser. Shared Nav Pages are linked to pages on the landing wiki maintained by the superuser (these may be organization policies, phone book, etc). Enforced Nav Pages would be a set of pages required by the superuser, but content editable by the sub-wiki users (ie mission statement, contact names, sub-policy documents, etc). The sub-wiki users cannot change the names of the enforced or shared pages, nor add additional pages to the enforced or shared nav bar. If they need specific wiki pages, they can select settings>customization>add element and find "Navigate Pages" as usual.

This is may be a lot to ask, but theme and branding enforcement is a very common policy, just look at Zoho's pages! For my organization, I'd at least like to see the options for theme, header, and footer enforcement. The nav parts probably require more work to enable.

Thank You!
