Hi Projects Team,
I noticed that Calendar, Chat and Meeting menu options in the Collaboration section are visible to client users, even when they don't have access to the features.
This could be confusing and frustrating, because if it's there you expect to be able to use those features (or at least have a read only view into them).
It would be a great UX enhancement if they were not visible when appropriate (or if the admin had the option to turn them off for Client users).
Calendar - If they don't have access to create Tasks, then they can see the calendar but can't add to it. Even if they are invited to a meeting it doesn't appear on this calendar, so it doesn't seem to serve any purpose.
Below screenshot shows that a client user who cannot select a project, cannot create a meeting.
Chat - This seems misleading because it seems that if they don't have a Cliq licence they can't participate, even if they are mentioned and can see the chat.
Below example shows a Chat listed but when clicked the "This activity is no longer available" is displayed instead of the chat.
Meetings - I guess if they don't have a Zoho Meetings licence then they can't see this, even if they are invited to a meeting it's not listed here.
Thanks for considering my feedback :)
