Adding additional records dynamically to a subset of fields
I'm trying to create a service ticket layout which will be passed to a Creator application for Field Service Management (FSM) purposes. We need to be able to define a specific subset of service product fields such as "Service Product", "Service Product Serial Number", "Service Product Warranty End Date" and "Service Product Current Warranty Status". We may need to record more than one of these subsets, in case the customer has more than one product which has to be serviced on their site. It seems to be very counterproductive to put more than one of these subsets on the service ticket layout to handle different service cases.
It would be good to have a dynamically definable field subset area on the ticket layout for such cases where you can just press the "plus" button placed near the subset area to create additional subset records only for specific tickets.
At the moment I will have to create at least 4-5 of these fields on the layout to be able to handle most of our service cases. Those additional fields all will have the same name with different number identifiers at the end. It will also be a nightmare to get a report in Zoho Analytics out of these fields because all of their names will have different IDs at the end and some tickets will have data up to the 5. entry whereas some will only have a single product record in them. Also we'll have to create additional service tickets in cases where we service more than 5 products at once.
If you would integrate this idea into Desk then you should also include the integration options for Flow triggers and Creator tables to meet the necessary data transfer requirements on these applications. Also such data field subsets should be calculated as combined datasets on Analytics.
