Announcement: Zoho DataPrep to Deprecate Password-Only Authentication for Snowflake Connections on July 31, 2025
Starting from October 2024, all new Snowflake accounts will have multi-factor authentication (MFA) as the default for all password sign-ins. By November 2025, Snowflake will officially block all sign-ins that rely on single-factor authentication with passwords.
We encourage our users to begin transitioning to MFA as soon as possible to ensure continued access and enhanced security.
