I have a view which contains details of clinical trials. I have created custom function buttons for each record.
I would like for the user to click on the custom function "Add Recruitment" and the form "accrual log" opens, so that the user can enter their details.
The form "accrual log" does open, and I have managed to put a date stamp on the "on load" script of the form. What the form is not doing is prepopulating the fields in "accrual log" with the information from the Recruitment view.
I have searched and it seems there is a way to do this, however, I do not have any deluge or scripting experience, and I am finding it very difficult to follow the instructions as I don't understand the terms you use.
Are you able to provide me with really silly instructions and explanations as to what parameters are, and which ones I use. I don't know this stuff.
Alternatively, I have given you edit access to my Industry Studies application. The view that has the custom functions is RECRUITMENT - Recruitment Upload.
This view has Add Recruitment button which opens up the form Accrual Log. I want the user to click on the button, and Accrual Log opens with the fields WY ID, CCRN ID autopopulated, from RECRUITMENT - Recruitment Upload.
I would also like the View Recruitment History button to open in the parent window, and I want it to display all the studies for a certain researcher. I have experimented with search buttons, but once again I cannot understand this parameter business.
