I'd like to create a Boolean field that checks to make sure a date field value is prior or equal to today and returns true if it is.

The business case is to set an Expiration Date and then have a Boolean formula field called Active that checks to make sure the Expiration Date has not arrived/passed.

Can anyone help with the formula?
