Can a custom action in a view/report be replaced with a button?

Can a custom action in a view/report be replaced with a button?

I'm embedding a Creator view/report in a website. The user selects records, and then user should select the custom action in the report header to update CRM with preferences they made.
  
However, the custom action is not "easy to find" for a user and my client prefers a button. Has anyone come across such scenario and has solution? Any help would be much appreciated.
