Employees will fill out the New Request form when they are requesting something from the Purchasing department. The requests are then emailed to the appropriate Purchaser upon submission. I have placed an Auto Number field in the New Request form, and a corresponding "Request Number" number field in the Request Status form so that upon receiving the request via email, they can enter the Request number into the Request Status form and have it autopopulate with certain information from the New Request form. They will then check off "Task Accepted" upon acceptance, which auto-populates a date & time field. This information is then saved in the New Request Report upon submission.

The Purchasing staff member will then again go to the Request Status form when they have notes to put in. They will then check off the box "Task Pending". There is a "Task Pending Notes" field that follows this.

My question is this - if the Purchasing staff member enters notes into multi-text field once, and they enter the form again to enter something else, will the original entry be deleted from the New Request Report?
