Cannot enable DKIM or SPF as requested.

I've copied and pasted both the SPF entry and the DKIM selector as new TXT entries in the DNS manager on my registrar (1&1 internet.) both show up there as saved but I cannot verify them from the zoho control panel. I also tried this at the beginning of the year with no results, so i don't think it's the 72 hour grace period window.
