Cannot view shared doc

Hi guys,
A colleague has sent me a shared writer doc and I've registered, but that doc does not appear in my list. When I click on the link in the email confirmation, I can see the doc, but can't edit it and when I log into writer, it is not in any of my shared doc lists.
