Contact syncing

I am trying to sync contacts from Zoho into outlook. I currently have 5801 contacts in zoho, all owned by me. The outlook connector tells me i is is syncing all 5801 contacts into my empty outlook contacts folder, but only 14 are actually downloaded. I also get a counter "adding 1 of 5801" all the way to 5801 but only 14 show up. I have tried no another computer with a different version of outlook and i get the exact same result. Any solutions to this problem?
