Contextual Widget for CRM: Create new vendor

I get a lot of vendors emailing me, I would love to be able to add them to my CRM with one click via the widget for CRM in Gmail. Is there a technical reason I cannot? Would make sense I would think. Also many vendors I have in my tourism are individuals and not businesses. Thus the need.
