I created an email template and in this template I inserted some $ fields provided in the dialogue, for example 

 ${Leads.First Name}

When I am writing an email to a lead and then choose that template as a basis for my mail, the $ fields are not showing as the corresponding values, but as code

${Leads.First Name}

What could I be doing wrong?
