Designating Tickets to certain people

Hi

Is there a way to assign / designate tickets through the template used to a certain person?

For example, we are wanting to create a IT support ticket system, where upon filling out the ticket Zoho Desk assigns the ticket to IT and notifies them so they can act upon it, while Desk records the ticket, creating a log that can be looked back upon.

If there is another way to automatically designate tickits to a certain person / role that would also work.
