I use various folders with filters to automatically arrange my incoming emails. To reduce the number of disturbances I muted notifications on some of the folders in the web interface by going to 'Manage Folders' -> 'Folders' -> 'Notifications' and the bell icons gets a strike-out. Unfortunately notifications on my mobile app keep on coming and I haven not found a way to mute the notifications selectively by folder.
