Instructions to apply the Service Pack
Note: Ensure that no application is running when applying the Service Pack. This prevents any files used by the application from being over-written. For example if the Zoho Virtual Office server is running, stop the server and then install the service pack.
Step 1: Start UpdateManager Tool by executing the script UpdateManager.bat/sh file in <Zoho Virtual Office Home>/bin directory.
Note: We have fixed some issues in the UpdateManager Tool. To download the latest UpdateManager Tool visit http://forums.zoho.com/forumHome.do?forumGroupId=2266000000002001&forumTopicId=2266000000002102&
Step 2: Click "Browse" button and select the Service Pack file (.ppm) to be installed. Click "Install" button to install the Service Pack.
Step 3: You can go through the Readme file of the Service Pack by clicking the "Readme" button.
Note: On clicking the "Install" button, the tool checks whether there is enough space for the installation of the service pack. If there is not enough space, the tool informs the user about the lack of space. You must clear the space and then proceed with the installation.
Step 4: Once the Service Pack is installed, start Zoho Virtual Office Server.
