I conducted my first meeting last night. My mother received a new Vista powered Dell laptop for Christmas and with her acting as the presenter, I was able to view her screen 3 states away on my XP machine. This was a wonderful tool to help explain things to my mother!

A few quick problems, though:

(1) The participant list did not have my account listed, but had my mother's listed twice. Her email account was listed as the presenter and as an additional participant, while my email address was not listed. For some reason, the participant list had me labeled with her email address. I did receive her invites in my outlook inbox, and Zoho new when I was in/out of the meeting; I was just listed in the participant list with her email address. Interesting…..

(2) The online help video (http://static.zoho.com/meeting/docs/demo/demo.html) shows the option to take control/give control of the presenter’s desktop via a button. This button, though, was never visible on either of our screens. The buttons available to us resembled what is shown in the recent update (http://blogs.zoho.com/announcements/zoho-meeting-skype-integration-and-more/). What is the best way to share control? [I was the participant, she was the presenter, and I was viewing her screen through the ActiveX control].

(3) I could not set up the Remote Assistance function. What is the difference between this function on the normal meeting?
