Footer needs to be static and be anchored to the same place on every page

The footer needs to be anchored to the bottom of the page - in the same place every time. When I show footer and if my data runs long - the footer shows up on the next page. How do I 'fix' the footer to the bottom of every page in the same place no matter how many pages long the pdf turns out to be?
