Header and Footer in templates

Header and Footer in templates

Hi,

I'm new to this program. I cannot find how to add the header and footer in templates. Can someone kindly advise how to do that? Or the header and footer are supported for documents, but not templates? If not, it should be. Then we don't need repeat efforts on adding common wordings, e.g., author names, confidential terms, etc..
