Very new to Zoho. I use to code PHP no worries and would prefer to use it but then my manager can't make changes.

I don’t think the manager has setup the database correctly from the beginning but I need to make a few changes while i redesign the Zoho database for him.

I have a calendar view for routing jobs for guys in the field. When you click on a job in the calendar it opens the view we want and shows the fields we want. The problem is that when we click edit from there it shows all the fields in the form.

I want to make it that when we click edit from that report that it only shows a few fields and not all the fields. Is there any easy way to do this? If not can a script an if statement to test the URL and then use hide and show fields in there? If so how do I write the if statement? I can't see a task in deluge to test the URL.
