Image Field

I am creating a database for resources at my school, and am going to enter details such as name, location, etc.
I want to enter a small image of each resource, so included an "Image Field", but can not seem to get an image to load. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something obvious?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
