IMAP error message in Thunderbird stating I have exceeded the number of IMAP connections

I understand that Zoho may be experiencing technical problems at the moment but I wanted to be explicit about what error I am receiving. I should also say that as of 5 minutes ago, I am able to connect with IMAP without problems but the error message has been intermittent for the past 2 days.

I am using a pc and have flushed my dns cache with the commpand prompt (ipconfig /flushdns). MyThunderbird is also set to allow a maximum of just 1 cached server connection, although I have changed this to 5 and back to 1 again in an attempt to clear any cached data.

The error states that I have exceeded the number of IMAP connections.
