I have a project that involves modifying a large group of static HTML pages and then pasting the results into a Wordpress blog. I've done as much automated change as I can and it's now down to hand-checking and modifying. I am so used to using Zoho writer, and have data about the project stored in some sheets and notes, that I would like to use Writer as the text editor for these files.

Is there any way to import HTML files without having them "tidied"? I understand the reasoning behind it, but for these pages I would like to simply import the things and work on them as text. When I import, they display as a page and when I switch to HTML mode, Writer has made its own modifications.

Basically I'm asking if there is any way (except page by page copying and pasting) that Writer can be easily "dumbed-down" to make it a text editor with Writer functions?
