Importing/Exporting Word Docs

I cannot use the Import or Export features to import or export MS Word documents to/from my hard drive. When I click on "Import" and select a document, the hamster cage spins and nothing happens. I've let it run for up to five minutes. Similarly, when I click on a document then click on "Export," a new window opens with the message "Exporting to Document..." whatever that means. I've let that process run for many minutes also.

I can, however, successfully e-mail documents to/from myself.

I'm running Linspire 5.0 Linux OS on an AMD Semproon with 1 gig of RAM and using the Firefox 1.5 browser.

Is this a bug, or is there something about my computer that Zoho doesn't like?
