The Outlook Plugin Side Pane is so slow with jerky screen refreshes, it is unusable.    So it gets disabled by most users.    Why not make an option for a manual refresh instead of constantly trying to keep up as users move through their email.   

It could allow you to view your emails normally, but when you wanted to augment one with more info from Zoho CRM, you click on a button for the side pane to appear and pull data.  But then it stops refreshing data when you move to a new email.   If you closed it, it would stay closed until you clicked on something to manually activate it.  

2 ideas came to mind:  add the manual option to the pull-down and a activate button elsewhere or just allow manual activation for one email while the side pane is set to disabled.
