Introducing Flex! A Powerful New Canvas Component in Zoho CRM!

We’re excited to announce Flex, a new Canvas component in Zoho CRM designed to give you more control over how your data is displayed. Flex makes it easy to build layouts that adjust to different screen sizes and devices, helping create a better user experience.

What Can Flex Do?

Flex helps you build responsive, customizable layouts that improve data visibility and user interaction. It automatically adapts to fit screens of all sizes.

Use Flex when you want your layout to be:

  • Responsive – adapts to different screen sizes

  • Flexible – allows elements to grow, shrink, or move dynamically

  • Centered – aligns content vertically or horizontally

  • Evenly Spaced – distributes items evenly

  • Organized by Rows or Columns – great for structured layouts


Flex Component Types

Choose from three Flex styles based on what you’re building:

  • Vertical Flex – Stacks items in a column (great for profiles or cards)

  • Horizontal Flex – Aligns items in a row (ideal for comparisons or metrics)

  • Wrap Flex – Automatically wraps items to the next line if space runs out (perfect for catalogs or event lists)

How Flex Supports Responsive Layouts

Flex includes tools to help elements adjust automatically:

  • Auto Responsive – Items stretch or shift based on the screen size

  • Auto Column – Items organize into rows by column count, preventing overlap

  • Min & Max Width Settings – Keep key info visible by controlling how items resize

Note: You can’t use Auto Responsive and Auto Column together. Choosing one will disable the other.
