Hi,

I'd be grateful if you could give me an update on an ongoing issue you said you'd be addressing shortly, it's to do with incoming shipping charges.

Some of our suppliers bill us a shipping charge for sending goods to us and Zoho Books/Inventory doesn't seem to provide a direct way of handling this.  The shipping charge will vary and we often don't know what it will be until the bill turns up.  For purchase orders that are manually created, we add an additional product line and charge it to a cost of sales account but Zoho won't allow that for orders that are created from sales orders or back ordered, there is also a complication sometimes with non inventory items being used in purchase orders.  I suggested a simple carriage field in purchase orders/bills (like the one in sales orders) that wouldn't mean messing about with line items but haven't heard anything back yet.

I don't know how other businesses deal with this and would be interested to hear other opinions if there are any out theren but this is proving to be a bit more of an issue than I originally thought.
