Is it possible?

If we have a table containing tests which are grouped. Can the groups of tests be "pulled" into a new table/report for "Test Results" as a group. For example, the "Test Steps" has a field called "Test Template" which is used to group multiple rows which are the test steps for a particular device.  I want to be able to select say "Test Template 1", "Test Template 2", etc and have a new table created.  

There will be multiples of each template i.e. multiple devices in the new table. For example, "Test Template 1" might be the test steps for a remote control which could have 20 buttons i.e. 20 test steps.  The new Tests Results table is for a particular site so there will be say 2 remote controls and therefore there will be 40 test steps (20 for each remote). 

I am unsure what options there are for selecting which templates and quantity of templates are used each time to populate each new Test Results table.

I'm probably expecting too much but it would be great to simply tick a check box and/or quantity field and automatically populate a new table for the particular site.
