We use Zoho to generate our outbound letters. However at present. we can see no mail merge code in Zoho that enters the date of the mail merge onto to the letter. We want the date to be static and fixed to the date of generation, for future reference.

 

At the moment we use autotext in Word prior to uploading the template. But this is not good as it will either (1) show the date the template was uploaded (2) so that the letter shows the date of when the document is gone back into and opened.

 

Is there anyway to get Zoho to pull across the date of generation or another Word work round?
