Mobile E-mail reply leaves incomplete draft visible

I have had this happen a few times and at first I thought I may not have sent the e-mail. On closer inspection, this appears to be the steps to reproduce it.

  1. Receive an e-mail from an external organization
  2. Begin a rather lengthy reply to the message using the iOS mobile app for Mail
  3. Return to your computer and open Mail
  4. Navigate to the "Drafts" folder where you will find an incomplete draft that contains a portion of the autosaved draft you were writing on the iOS app
  5. Navigate to Sent to confirm the message was actually sent
