Modify Link do not work properly

I have noticed that modify link work irregularly. If I first mark a link and clikc modify link the URL is missing in the modify link property window. If I on the other hand only right-click on the link and use modify link. The URL is intact but the Text from the document is missing. This is very unfortunate.
