More effective Group Member management
We have hundreds of volunteers in several counties around California, each of whom will be a User in our Zoho account. We are creating an Application and a Group for each county's volunteers, and Sharing each county’s application with that county’s volunteer Group.
Volunteers come and go all the time, and only current volunteers should have access to one of our Applications, since the Applications will contain sensitive information. Thus, we need to be able to easily compare each county’s list of current volunteers with a list of that county’s Group Members.
However, when I go into “Manage Groups > [GroupName] > Members”, Group Members are displayed non-alphabetically in a graphical array of abbreviated usernames. This is very non-functional in a number of ways. First, when usernames do not match Users’ current email addresses (which happens often), we have no effective way of knowing which Group Member Username belongs to which volunteer. (The only way to see a Group Member’s email address is to roll over their Username with my cursor, which is extremely inefficient with hundreds of volunteers.) Second, since there is no way to print or export the Group Member list, I (as the Developer) cannot send a copy to local staff. Third, since Group Members are not listed alphabetically, I have to use my browser’s search function to look for a username rather than just scrolling directly to it.
I very strongly encourage you to re-structure the Group Member list screen to be the same as the structure of the User list screen, which simply lists Users alphabetically by email address. This would be far more functional for us. Thank you.
