Multiple emails per lead and contact (for Email Gadget recognition) needed

Most people (leads and contacts) have multiple email addresses. This is a problem for the Google Gadget to recognize them as already being a lead or contact if they have not used the exact same email as the one used in their initial contact. I have tried adding multiple email addresses in two ways:
  1. I added an extra form input for a secondary email but the Google Gadget plugin doesn't recognize this
  2. I have tried adding an extra email using comma separation in the primary email address field but Zoho CRM doesn't support this.
I am an avid user of email to lead and potentials using the Zoho CRM Google Gadget plugin but there is a huge issue that stops me from being a power user. I know it's possible because WORKetc handled this easily. In fact, when it didn't recognize the name there was a drop down for us to add to an existing contact or lead.

The attachment is a typical response I get - this one from a long time friend who is not that tech savvy and always using different email addresses. To say this contact doesn't exist is frustrating.
