Optimize your knowledge base with header tags for enhanced visibility

Let's dive into why header tags are crucial for your articles.

Header tags and when to use them

Header tags, ranging from H1 to H3 in our knowledge base (KB) module, are often referred to as HTML elements used to designate an article's headings and subheadings. By providing a structure for the content, these tags make it simpler for people and search engine specialists to comprehend and navigate the page. Additionally, header tags contribute to creating visually appealing content for readers by delineating various sections and highlighting important points.

A brief overview of the header tags that are accessible in our KB module

H1 - Heading 1

This is the article title. The H1 typically focuses on specific keywords that identify a page's central concept and are designed to capture the reader's interest.
There's a difference between the Title tag and the H1 Header tag: The Title tag pertains to the overall article's title, whereas the H1 tag summarizes the text section. Both heading elements improve page optimization.

H2 - Heading 2

These subheadings define the structure of your article and enable readers to find the most relevant content quickly. You should also incorporate relevant keywords in your H2s to make the content easier to find and read.

H3 - Heading 3

These subsection headings should be used to emphasize additional details or introduce elements, such as a list of bullet points, images, or charts.

An example of how this hierarchical arrangement might epitomize in your article's outline:

H1 - The article's overarching idea or subject
