Organization-Wide Announcement Banner Across All Zoho One Applications

Hi Zoho Team,

We were happy to see the new Announcements feature in the Zoho Mail Admin Console. This is a great step toward improving internal communication within organizations.

However, we would like to suggest expanding this capability to a Zoho One–level feature, rather than limiting it only to Zoho Mail.

Current Limitation:

At the moment, announcements are only visible inside Zoho Mail.
In reality, many users spend most of their time in other Zoho apps such as: Zoho Desk, Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, Zoho Cliq And others

As a result, important announcements may be missed entirely if users are not actively using Zoho Mail.

Feature Request:

We would like to request a centralized announcement/banner system across all Zoho suit with the following capabilities:

  1. Display announcements across all Zoho applications, not just Zoho Mail
  2. Ensure visibility whether users access apps via: one.zoho.com or Direct app URLs (e.g., desk.zoho.com, crm.zoho.com, etc.)
  3. Ensure visibility also in zoho one dashboard.
  4. Maintain the existing capabilities from Zoho Mail: Scheduling, Expiry date, Target audience (entire org / specific groups), Rich text formatting (Please make sure it's supports RTL).
Benefits:
  1. True organization-wide communication, regardless of which app users are using
  2. Increased visibility for critical updates (maintenance, incidents, policy changes, events)
  3. Reduced reliance on email (which is often missed or delayed)
  4. Consistent communication experience across the Zoho ecosystem
  5. Strong alignment with Zoho One as a unified operating system for business

This could be implemented as a global banner layer managed from Zoho One Admin, which is injected into all Zoho apps—similar to how security policies and user management are centrally controlled.

Final Note:
Zoho One is positioned as a unified platform, then organization-wide announcements should also be unified and not limited to a single application but also taking under consideration that organizations do not always access applications via one.zoho.com - since Users often log in directly via URLs like: desk.zoho.com, crm.zoho.com, projects.zoho.com etc.

This enhancement would improve internal communication and ensure that important messages are always seen—no matter where users are working.
