Outlook 2013 Plugin locks up Outlook

I am using the Outlook plugin with Outlook 2013 on Windows 7 and it regularly locks up outlook, mostly when typing an email message, which requires me to kill the Outlook task in Task Manager. Love the plugin, but the locking up, particularly half way through typing a message is a huge productivity drain. Any ideas on how to fix?
