Outlook Calendar Sync - what's the right way to update items

When someone sends me a calendar item I accept it in Outlook and then use the plugin to export it to Zoho.  If a change is then made (like time is updated) and I try to reexport to Zoho I get an error message that this item has already been added. So what is the right way to update Zoho with the new changes?
