outlook contacts showing up as leads

outlook contacts showing up as leads

I am not sure how to best use the Outlook Plug in.  I was hoping that emails to/from zoho leads & contacts would appear as activity in Zoho.  So far that has not happened.  The only thing that has happened is folks from my Outlook are displaying as leads (not my goal).  Any advise or guidance is VERY WELCOME HERE.  Thanks!
